~ Registering to Vote ~
You do not have to register to vote before the election. Vermont has same–day voter registration, meaning that if you have not previously registered to vote and want to do so on town meeting day, you can register then and there. You do need to be a resident of the town in which you are registering to vote, and proof of that (like a utility bill).
