Swing Noire brings the energy of a swingin’ jazz club to the stage, transporting audiences back to the early days of jazz with their unique take on Hot Swing.  Their music will entrance and surprise you.   Their great energy, soul, sophistication, and improvisation make seeing them live an unforgettable treat.  Out of the woodshed and onto the New England music scene, these 4 fine make up Vermont's hottest acoustic, Hot Club style quartet. Dan Bolles (of Seven Days) says "This is one of the hippest, most happening groups in the state, so don't miss out!".  The band features violinist David Gusakov (of the Will Patton Quintet, Pine Island, and the Vermont Symphony Orchestra), twins Rob and Jim McCuen on solo guitar and double bass, and rhythm guitarist Jared Volpe.  Swing Noire has performed at the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, Burlington’s First Night Celebration, The Town Hall Theater, and many other venues throughout New England.
